Château Lamothe is an imposing country manor house whose foundations go back to the 16th century. It was renovated in the 19th century and is now a very charming home.

Located in the commune of Haux, on a clay-limestone slope, this estate has belonged to the same family for 3 generations. The family have expanded the vineyards, rebuilt the cellars, and made excellent use of impressive underground galleries originally excavated in the 17th and 18th centuries to extract stone used to build some of the most beautiful buildings in the city of BORDEAUX.

These 60-metre deep galleries are used to store barrels and bottles under perfect conditions.
